Power

There are three forms of power conversion and storage for the Prometheus Armor, all of which cycle through the main power system, a high-density storage battery, under optimal conditions. The primary form of power is a solar-charge, also containing energy induction grids that, along with a thermocouple to turn heat into energy, cool the system down as well as store energy for nighttime use. These cooling units are capable of keeping the armor from overheating in excess of external temperatures up to 5,500 degrees centigrade. Heat or energy bases attacks to the suit are normally diffused throughout the suit's systems to lessen the impact and defend against over-load; sometimes these attacks can be cycled into the conversion system, but too much can cause overload. For more information on converting offensive attacks against the suit, see Armor Defenses.
Enough solar power can be stored for up to 24 hours of full systems use, 48 in more energy conserving modes. The secondary form of power comes from the suit itself, using a conversion method to transform electric field potentials into useable energy. The suit's excess heat and electric fields can be converted into half the energy used to create them from the suit in the first place. Recycled power is shunted to a reserve battery that can store an extra 12 hours. The third and final power source is an emergency generator that only comes on-line if the first two methods fail or malfunction. Access to the other power systems will be shut off completely and locked, the reserve battery giving the user 6 hours to exit the suit and make repairs. The systems can only be returned after repairs have been met and testing unlocks their systems from the laptop testing programs or a simple downloaded program sent by the watch's backups.
