Energy Shielding
Systems like the energy shield, which projects a laser-absorption grid with a radius of 13', able to both disperse the incoming energy (kinetic, heat, fist, etc.) and convert it into stored energy (up to 10 tons of force worth before the shield is weaken to physical force) or create a power feedback to the offensive source in the form of 'splash damage' in the case of explosions or plasma based attacks; this is only the case if the source is close enough to be affected. This is not a targeted effect, but will “splash” onto all nearby objects like a water balloon on pavement.
The suit also possesses an External Inertial Dampening Field that can prevent bullets from ricocheting off of the armor and hitting innocent bystanders.
