Casting Call: Emma Thompson

Little did I know the 'most important question' of all I'd be asked was: "Well, who would play Dr. MacTaggart?" A lot of thought and some good suggestions later, I went with Emma Thompson, Oscar-award winner and screenwriter. That's her, on your right there and here she is again, far more colorized and a bit redder haired than she should be. =) To be honest, that's the picture that cinched it.

Muir Island Institute of Biological Science

The European Directory of DNA Laboratories lists the Muir Island Institute of Biological Science as one of the world leaders in genetic research and testing. If there's one place you want to go when you're a mutant and injured, this is it. It also happens to be Moira's first home and where she spends the majority of her time. Mighty important this place, so much so it's got it's own page!. Kinda small yet, check it out here.

Clan Kinross

It's become more of a historical title than anything serious, but Moira MacTaggart is heir to Clan Kinross, awarding her the title of "Lady" and titleholder of Muir Island. Yay for minor nobilty.
