• The first thing that got me thinking about creating just a character is, of all things, Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII. "Why?", you cry, "Sephiroth's mean, imposing and cruel... Julius is kinda... well, wimpy." I know, but in the now infamous last battle from FFVII, the theme "Haryuu no Hanekata" is playing. Very cool, very spooky and then I found out that "Haryuu no Hanekata" means "One Winged Angel" (Well, 'One Winged Angel of the Lower Regions', but we won't mention that.). How poetic, I thought to myself, could I bring it to Æther? Mind you, without the quest for world destruction, I began to plot out how someone could lose their wing and thought the best way to go about it would be to add a bit more influence from FFVII and make it a painful and soul-changing experience. I like playing him, and I think the whole concept came out well. What do you think? *^.^*

  • When I first started playing Julius, I was listening to the Barenaked Ladies non-stop. I had them on repeat on my sterio and blasting in my walkman when I went to the computer lab of my school. One song sort of became my 'Julius Anthem' and, when listeneing to the lyrics, I doesn't seem to make much sense. In any case, I sticks with me even now; the song? "What a Good Boy" off of their Gordon album. "Oh!," you say, "so *that's* the song plastered all over this site!" Yes, I put a few quotes here and there... Click here for the entire song (Warning: poetically written and very long).
